"Tales of Partia" is an intriguing addition to the evolving universe of Partia, melding traditional SRPG mechanics with a Choose Your Own Adventure format. This approach allows players to embark on episodic quests featuring both new and familiar heroes and heroines. This inaugural release combines the first two episodes, reflecting a vision to create a cohesive narrative arc that enhances gameplay through escalating challenges, based on player decisions and strategies.

After dedicating over ten years to the completion of the Partia trilogy, the journey has been one of significant personal investment and hardship. The experience was challenging enough to induce substantial stress, compounded by personal difficulties such as a failed marriage and financial pressures. Yet, the encouraging feedback from fans of Partia 3 rekindled my motivation to embark on a new project, leading to the conception of "Tales of Partia" around four years ago. Although progress was often slow, I found inspiration in the story and characters, which draw from a TRPG campaign I participated in with Mike Schultz, Mark, and Eric.

This game has arrived at a fitting moment, coinciding with my 45th birthday, and I hope it resonates with friends and players alike.
